Open Question: Should I transfer schools?

Right now I to go UIC (University of Illinois at Chicago) and I might transfer to UWRF (U of Wisconsin, River Falls). I'm from Minnesota. Here are my reasons for each... opinions are appreciated :) UIC: The cultural diversity is a huge learning experience and something I wouldn't have at River Falls. I made some AWESOME friends here and leaving them would be devastating. The city is a fun place. I've already gotten to know the school/know my way around. I might become an R.A. next year. (Free room & board) UWRF: Tuition is $12,000 compared to UIC's $32,000 (MN students get in-state tuition at Wisconsin schools). It's only about an hour from home compared to 7 hours. They have an award-winning elementary ed program which is what I want to do. I can bring my car as opposed to using public transportation/walking.... Read More »
